Conserve Water

An estimated 20 to 50 percent of water is lost to leaks in North America’s supply system, a major issue as utilities strive to sustain a growing population in an era of water scarcity.  By saving time and money with SIPP technology, communities are empowered to address this challenge more efficiently, leveraging resources to accelerate their water conservation programs.

Reduced Carbon Footprint

SIPP is an environmentally conscious approach, with repairs occurring “in-situ”, mitigating the negative community impact normally associated with ‘ripping and replacing’ an aged piping system.  It dramatically reduces the carbon footprint associated with demolition debris, carting, landfill and repaving.  Plus, by improving flow capacity and preventing future leaks, it saves water for decades to come.

Environmentally Safe

Spray in Place Solutions utilizes epoxies that are certified compliant with ASTM 729 and NSF/ANSI 61. These certifications provide customers assurance that their drinking water is safe and meets industry standards for non-toxicity to marine and aquatic biological organisms. This ensures that no fish, algae, or other wildlife are killed or harmed by heavy metals or other toxins leaching into the environment.
